This is what I do during a blizzard advisory...

I sit in my apartment in my pajamas and read all your fabulous blogs.

I take pictures of the snow path on my block.

I take pictures of my neighbor's tree covered in snow.

I wander to the old firehouse at the end of the block. I don't know if it's currently in use, but isn't it an awesome building? xo

The fingers have it...

I've been inspired by this beautiful blogger to put some old school elegance in my outfits. I took one look at her lace gloves and decided I must own a pair. So, as all bloggers are prone to do, I did a quick search on etsy. 1950's vintage ivory
lace shabby vintage gloves
long black lace fingerless
short black lace fingerless

Since in Chicago the temperature is currently in the single digits, I may have to wear these lacy lovelies underneath my thick mittens.
