I haven't really shared any proper pictures of our new home because there is so much I still
wanna do. It's so funny how much has happened in the month that we've lived here. Above
are some pictures of the mister and a friend putting together our new bed frame. It is so
neat, it even has drawers! Having a proper bed frame makes me feel like such an adult.
On the flip side, last weekend we had some intense storms roll through and we woke up
to a basement full of standing water. We unfortunately had boxes full of our stuff still down
there so we had a lot of throwing away to do. This included lots of collectibles, books, pictures,
it was heartbreaking. We tried staying positive and realized it could've been worse.
Oh the joys of owning a home.

I'm so sorry to hear about your basement. I just moved in to our first home and had a nightmare with the floor installation. The joys indeed...
oh man, I'm so sorry about the flood. I suppose you can try to think of it as a good time to purge extra things... ugh.
But yes! Your bedroom looks super neat and I know what you mean about bed frames making you feel like an adult. I felt the exact same way when we finally bought one last year.
