I think it was about 2 years ago that I began opting for online shopping rather than physical shopping. I got lazy and loved the idea that I could shop while in my underwear.
Once I began following all these wonderful blogs, online shopping became even sweeter. Now I am exposed to homemade, vintage and just plain awesome items. It gives me a warm feeling knowing that my money is going to people out there who are just trying to get by--much like myself. But the best part is the thoughtfulness and elaborate packaging that my purchases always come in or the little extras that are included. For example, I bought this adorable dress from Effie's amazing ebay shop. Isn't she gorgeous? Not only does the dress fit me like a glove but she included cute little treats like the above postcard.
Speaking of which, I've gotten some treasures from Etsy that I'd like to share with you soon.

I couldn't agree more. I LOVE Etsy and have gotten some really wonderful things and I love that they are made by people and not machines. That sounds odd - but you know what I mean.
I wrote about a great bag designer on my blog last Monday, and she agreed to do a give away for me this week. I just posted about it today. Check it out! (But no rush - I'm not doing the drawing until a week from today.)
