To all my fellow five-foot nothings, I found a cute step stool that is both fun and sophisticated. Behold this beauty from Urban Outfitters:
The stow away step stool. Isn't it spectacular? No more having to go to the dollar store and having to purchase the step stool that has ABC's and 123's, clearly indicating that you are the same height as a first grader. No more trying to stand on boxes that give way, send you flying and making you hit your counter with your forehead giving you that delightful cut that scares away all the neighborhood dogs. That's right, my life is now complete.
