So, you know how you got that e-mail this morning from the New York Times or you read your local paper this morning about the unemployment rate being the highest it's been in a while? Well, yours truly has now joined that number. I am now unemployed. I am sad and worried and anxious and all those things you feel when the rug has been pulled from underneath you. However, I've been through tough times before and I'm confident I'll get through this with the help of my wonderful friends. On the bright side, now I'll have plenty of time for this blog and for my list of things that I said I'd do.

I'm sorry, D. I've been there and it sucks. But after you go through the 10,000 emotions, you realize you're going to be fine and, hopefully, enjoy some of the downtime. Hang in there;)
