Crazy Heart

I was listening to a segment on NPR about the singing in the movie Crazy Heart starring Jeff Bridges. They played a duet that Jeff Bridges and Colin Farrell sing in the movie and I was so delighted, I had to go find it again. I'm not surprised that Mr. Bridges is musically-inclined, he is extremely talented at everything it seems but Colin, you go Irish boy! Listen to 'em pipes!

Le Epcot Center...

Our third day at Disney World consisted of my 5k early in the morning, a huge breakfast and then off to see the world in Epcot Center.

You know what the best part about being an adult while touring the world at Epcot? Getting to buy a margarita when you reach Mexico! Ole!

Magical place...

Our second day in Disney World consisted of a huge Belgian waffle, heading over to the health expo to get our race day packages and good ole' Magic Kingdom. Pirates of the Caribbean has always been my favorite ride and so we did that straight away. The Haunted Mansion was just as spooky scary as I recalled and of course we couldn't help but show our distaste for the It's a small world ride.

Coming up tomorrow is Epcot Center. xo

Technical difficulties...

Something is up with my blogger account and I seem to have lost my old template somehow. Ugh. Hopefully my blog will be cute and personalized again soon. Boo

Wild adventure...

I have returned from my Disney World adventure. And what can I say? It was magical! The bf and I felt like children again and we acted the part, wearing Mickey Mouse apparel, eating too much candy and haunting the resort's arcade room.

We arrived at the Wilderness Lodge at about 2 pm on Wednesday and immediately set off to Animal Kingdom. We explored Mt. Everest, ran from dinosaurs and hung out in Asia and Africa. All in a day's work.
