Drag Racing...

Last weekend the boy and I headed up to Wisconsin to watch his dad drag race at the Great Lakes Dragaway. I am not gonna lie, I had such a blast! The weather wasn't so wonderful but man, watching those old cars race at insane speed does give one an adrenaline rush--and I didn't even drive!
It was pretty cold, so the boy and I found an interesting spot to be silly and take pictures. My short stumpy legs are so evident in the picture of me, it makes me laugh every time I see it.

I've been feeling kind of depressed the last couple of days due to illness, my sister moving away in a week and a half and well quite frankly PMS. I hope I can get out of this funk really soon but I'm such a baby I can't watch a damn Olympic medal ceremony without bursting into tears.

Off to Michigan...

My new sunnies and I are off to Michigan for the weekend for a wedding with some pretty summer dresses, good food and much needed beach time.

1. Had an old-fashioned sleepover with my two best friends at my cozy (read:small!) studio apartment.

2. Got my hands on a Nintendo Wii.

3. Went to see the Dark Knight for a second time. (I'm a dork!)

4. Went sailing.
