Is this yours?

Like any normal human being, I have many qualms about flying. The most obvious being of course that the plane crashes or is taken over by terrorists. But the most unfortunately common and most annoying one is losing my luggage. Most of us like to pack some of our best stuff when we travel especially when on vacation, you want to look your best and represent awesome-ness in another location. Finding out your luggage doesn't make it to your destination is such a pain in the ass.

This awesome site, Is This your Luggage, puts up lost luggage and its contents for people to claim. According to the site creator, an airport will keep lost luggage for a while and try to find its owner but after some time the stuff is given away to be auctioned off with the profits going to charity. This is where our hero steps in, bids on items then photographs not just the luggage but as aforementioned, the contents inside and hopes to have the owner claim it. Isn't that hilarious? Of course, maybe not so hilarious if you've packed some extremely personal stuff but luckily it's all anonymous.

The Fall...

I've been meaning to post about this for awhile now. Forgive me for being an awful blogger but school was getting the best of me.

Recently, I saw the most beautiful movie called The Fall. It stars one of my favorite actors, Lee Pace of Pushing Daisies fame (R.I.P). The film is set in 1920's Los Angeles and Pace plays Roy Walker, a Hollywood stuntman who got seriously hurt while on the job. To make matters worse, the woman he loves, an actress, leaves him for the leading actor in the movie that caused Walker's accident. Basically, the man has no will to live. I won't give away anymore of the plot because I want you all to see this amazing piece of work. Pace is amazing in this movie, truly at his finest but the best part of the movie.....

newcomer child actress, Catinca Untaru. I dare you to watch this movie and not fall in love with her. I'm telling you, if I was guaranteed a child as adorable as her I'd go out and get myself knocked up right this second! This is gonna sound cruel but I usually detest child actors. They always seem to "overact" and can be downright annoying. Untaru is nothing like that, she doesn't even seem to be acting and she has the most adorable Eastern European accent that plays a big role in her character's development. The chemistry between Untaru and Pace is amazing. I read somewhere that the director, Tarsem Singh, encouraged Pace to call Untaru by her real name in some of the scenes so they could get natural reactions out of her and boy did it work.

Isn't she just a doll! Look at her in her little outfit. You MUST watch this movie. Rent it or Netflix it today!

Just for kicks...

I love these pictures of what storm troopers do when not protecting the Empire.

Call to action....

Dear readers of Tenacious Dee (all 2 of you),

I have a favor to ask of you. I have just made an appointment for my next tattoo. I have given my friend, the tattoo artist, full control of the design because he is a talented and amazing artist. However, I need some ideas so I can lead him in the right direction.

What exact design am I looking for, you ask? I'm so glad you asked. Well, about 4 years ago I got this bad-ass haircut that included a portion of my head being shaved and dyed green with leopard spots. Oh to be young and be able to get away with that again! Anyway, my friend started calling me Laser to make fun of my cut. The name stuck and my closest friends have me on their phones as Laser. So, to honor this bad-ass nickname, I'd like to get a tattoo of a laser gun, a sorta campy and cheesy version of one. I've included some really cheesy examples that I found. Can any of you guys lead me to where I can find some better examples? Have any of you artists ever drawn or designed something like it? I'd love your input!

P.S. Maybe one of these days, I'll include a picture of the infamous laser cut. We'll see.

I can't get that song out of my head...

You probably thought I had forgotten about this feature of my blog....but songs get stuck in my head all the time and this is where I share that random tune for anyone who can relate or even cares.

The tune this week is Say you love me by Fleetwood Mac. What can I say about good ole' Fleetwood Mac that we don't already know. I'm a huge fan of Lindsey Buckingham's and Christy McVie's songs. This is probably my favorite Christy tune which is probably why it is always stuck in my head. This song reminds me of the feeling you get when you start dating someone new and every little thing seems so amazing especially after you...ahem..."seal the deal" if you catch my drift.

Enjoy the montage video as well.

Swing, Swing...

No, I am not referencing that All-American Rejects song, although I will admit that I was a closet fan of theirs back in the day, I digress....So, how cool is this set of pictures of a swing being installed on a BART train in San Francisco?! I wish someone would do this on the trains here in Chicago. Of course they'd have to install them at night and remove them in the morning during rush hour when you're stading so close to people you can practically guess what they had for breakfast.

WEEEEEEE!!!!
