I have been absent for much too long. I'm pretty sure I lost my 5 faithful readers (I may be overestimating that number). However, I am back with a vengeance. I have plenty of fresh ideas and I'm gonna start by redesigning my blog. I know, I know, I sound like a broken record but I mean it. I started with my banner and am gonna revamp everything else bit by bit.

Don't be surprised if you see different colors and pictures every time you visit my blog, I am just trying things on for size. :)

{WIGIF Why I'm glad it's Friday}

1. I get to relax before attending a monster 30th birthday party tomorrow in which I will be part of the evening's entertainment. (More on that later)

2. The boy gets back in exactly one day! I'm kinda nervous to see him, two weeks apart and I feel like it's been months. Weird.

Sweet dreams...

I moved in with the boy a couple of months ago and am just now finishing up my move (bows head in shame). Our apartment is nice and cozy and I love it but I still feel like I need to do some decorating to get rid of the bachelor pad vibe that lingers. How awesome would this bird banner made by this talented lady look in our bedroom? I love the matching bird pillows. Truly inspired.

Shabby Chic...

I have a terrible eye for design. The decor (if you can call it that) in my apartment has no rhyme or reason, it is just there. I visit numerous design blogs daily and am amazed at the wonderful taste so many bloggers have and all the great design ideas I couldn't come up with if someone had a gun to my head. Needless to say, here's my weak attempt at a design-ish post:

I was at Target the other day and stumbled upon the Shabby Chic bedding collection and 'twas love at first sight. I don't know how to work it into my current layout (read:black sheets and a tomato blanket) but at this price, mark my words, I will make it happen!
